Natural Remedies/Powerful Benefits: The Power Of Turmeric







Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory that can aid in detoxifying the liver by increasing glutathione, reduce inflammation, help with rheumatoid arthritis & arthritic conditions, may prevent & reduce alzheimer's disease, helps with obesity, and much more. One great benefit also is  to heal  leaky gut symptoms and IBS and turmeric works quickly for both issues. I have used it for sciatic nerve pain, which reduced the inflammation and the pain went away. I take turmeric in powdered form with a few ounces of water or with almond milk. It is cheaper to buy the turmeric in bulk and you can usually get it very cheaply at Indian grocery stores.

NOTE: 1 teaspoon of turmeric is about equal to 8 capsules, so that would be about 16 capsules a day, which is way too expensive for my blood. I pay 4.00 U.S. for 12 ounces of turmeric powder.

The best way of consuming turmeric depends upon you. Some take a tsp of powder mixed in a bit of water and down it. This is more cost effective and works great. I have Clients from India and they all mix it in hot milk. It tastes pretty good and makes me tingle all over and helps with fibromyligia!! according to friends who have it.
